"If you’re like me, you have also allowed some of your untreated weaknesses to engrave an invitation to the enemy. Satan recognizes the treasures God has given us more than we do. He knows we are the royal heirs of the kingdom treasury of God. The more we play with Satan’s ‘world’ the more the consummate prince of Babylon will try to take. He comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Satan may bide his time until the opportune moment, but make no mistake- he will RSVP with an acceptance. We’ll be the ones left with the regret."
time is flying & we can’t believe it’s almost august! this is what’s been up in the past two months..
we got hitched, baby! the wedding was so fun and it was such a blessing to see everyone together and having them join us on our day of celebration!
then, just two short weeks later, my best friend got hitched too! it was so much fun for me to be a part of the wedding and I was brought to tears more than once!

after just a few weeks of a summer break, i started graduate school at OU. it’s an adjustment, but I’m sure that it will be worth it and hopefully come May, I’ll be a Master of Social Work!
we flew off for our honeymoon! even though the trip had some hiccups (a few stolen items, food poisoning, and having to crash at on an airport floor) the trip was still a great chance to get away and stay a week on a gorgeous beach in the Dominican Republic!

i got a nanny job! it was such an answer to prayer to get this job, especially for such a great family and two cute four month old twins! they are so much fun to love on every week!

even though the summer is flying by, we still have so much to look forward to and more to learn about this new city:)
we’ve moved to a new place to start a life together as a married couple. so why not start a blog about the adventure of abiding in God throughout this journey?
and this journey definitely started out with a bang. we are both so blessed to be surrounded by the most incredible friends and family. and these loved ones of ours sure know how to celebrate.
we thought it was only appropriate to kick off this blog with documentation of the absolutely wonderful, and obviously hilarious occasion.
